Updated PJN Instructions to Authors Are Now Available!

2026-10-30

The Philippine Journal of Nursing (PJN) is pleased to announce the release of its updated Instructions to Authors, reflecting our continuing commitment to high-quality scholarly publishing, transparent editorial processes, and internationally recognized standards of research and publication ethics.

As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen the journal's editorial and publishing operations, PJN is transitioning to the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP). This transition will provide a more streamlined and integrated platform for manuscript submission, peer review, editorial management, and publication.

What does this mean for prospective authors?

  • The updated Instructions to Authors are now available on the PJN website.

  • Authors are encouraged to review the revised guidelines and prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal's requirements.

  • Online manuscript submissions through our new OJS platform will be accepted soon.

  • Further announcements will be made once the submission portal is officially open.

We encourage researchers, nursing professionals, educators, and scholars to prepare their work for submission to PJN.

We look forward to receiving your contributions and continuing to advance nursing knowledge, research, education, and practice in the Philippines and beyond.
