We are Moving to an Open Journal System-Based Publishing Platform for PJN

Policy Statement
PJN considers only original work for publication. Authors must disclose, at submission, any prior or overlapping publication of substantially similar content, including conference abstracts, theses, preprints, or related manuscripts under consideration elsewhere. Submitting the same or substantially similar work to more than one journal at the same time is not permitted.
Secondary publication, such as translation of a PJN article into another language, may be considered in limited circumstances, provided it is clearly identified as a secondary publication, cross-references the original, and follows ICMJE's conditions for acceptable secondary publication.
1. Scope and Applicability
This policy applies to every manuscript submitted to PJN, and to any related prior or concurrent publication of overlapping content, at submission and throughout review.
2. Definitions
Duplicate (Redundant) Submission: Submitting the same or substantially similar work to more than one journal at the same time, which PJN does not permit.
Secondary Publication: A republication of an already-published article, such as a translation, that is clearly identified as such and cross-referenced to the original.
Preprint: A publicly posted, not-yet-peer-reviewed version of a manuscript.
